My little sister still wears nappys at night at age three is this normal
Dear Roxy, it is not unusual for children to continue to wet the bed at age 3 with many children not experiencing nighttime dryness until age 4. Be reassured most children your sisters age will outgrow bedwetting on their own as their bodies mature and become better able at holding on overnight or waking-up to the sensation of a full bladder. It is lovely to see your concern for your sister, she is very lucky to have such a supportive older sister - this will be particularly important if she continues to wet as she gets older. If your sister is still wetting after she turns 4 she may want to start using DryNites instead of nappy as they are better suited to older children and look more like underpants, making younger children feel a bit more grown-up! Kind regards, Dr Cathrine
